BOND JAMES BOND 2020 Tuvalu 1oz Proof High Relief Silver Coin: This coin celebrates the fictional British Secret Service agent James Bond, also known as 007. Producers Albert R. Broccoli and Harry Saltzman brought Bond to cinema screens for the first time in 1962 with Dr. No. More than 50 years later James Bond continues to entertain and excite audiences around the world in one of the longest running and successful film franchises.
Designed by Joseph Caroff under creative director David Chasman of United Artists, the 007 gun logo has become synonymous with the character, together with the signature gun barrel which appears in the opening sequence of each film.
Struck by The Perth Mint from 1oz of 99.99% pure silver, the coin is issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu. The Perth Mint will release no more than 5,000 of the James Bond 007 2020 1oz Silver Proof High Relief Coin.
The coin’s reverse portrays an iconic gold coloured 007 gun logo at the centre of a gun barrel.
The coin’s obverse portrays the Ian Rank-Broadly effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the monetary denomination, and the 2020 year-date.
The coin is presented in a classic black display case with a clear lid. The case is packaged in a beautifully illustrated shipper and accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
