PETER CARL FABERGE – TRANS SIBERIAN RAILWAY : 2027 Mongolia 2oz proof silver coin

With the “Trans-Siberian Railway Egg”, one of Peter Carl Fabergé’s most technically elaborate masterpieces, this exceptional series continues in impressive fashion. At the center of the coin is the magnificent Fabergé egg in striking high relief, surrounded by intricate floral ornaments and raised lettering.

Thanks to state-of-the-art smartminting® technology, the richly detailed relief creates an impressive 3D effect. Partially polished and gilded elements are combined with brilliant green coloring, lending

the design exceptional depth, elegance and luminosity. The refined proof finish further enhances even the finest details.

The historic original was created in 1900 for Tsar Nicholas II as an Easter gift for his wife, Alexandra Feodorovna. Hidden inside was a working miniature of the Trans-Siberian Express, which could be wound up with a golden key. Today, the famous egg is housed in the Kremlin Armoury Museum in Moscow and is considered one of Fabergé’s most significant creations.

With a limited mintage of only 888 pieces, this exceptional coin is a magnificent tribute to the incomparable artistry of Peter Carl Fabergé, combining historic splendor with modern minting craftsmanship.
