Son of Harald Fairhair and bearer of one of the most fearsome names in Viking history — Eric Bloodaxe carved his path to power through fire and kinship blood alike. King of Norway and twice ruler of Northumbria, he embodied the raw, uncompromising spirit of the Norse age, where thrones were claimed by the sword and held by sheer force of will.
Struck from 2 oz of .999 fine silver with an antique finish, this coin portrays Eric enthroned with his bloodied axe — the very symbol of his ruthless reign. Digital printing brings a visceral edge to the scene, with crimson accents on the blade and the gemstone of his crown cutting through the cold antique silver.
