WOODLAND SPIRITS: CHIPMUNK 2023 Mongolia 1oz silver coin
We proudly celebrate the 6th edition of our beloved «Woodland Spirits» series with the Siberian Chipmunk. In the wild, it prefers coniferous forests, rocky areas in woodlands or along streams in northern Europe, Mongolia, Russia, China and Japan as its habitat.
These fluffy looking rodents usually live solitary lives, however, during winter they create a burrow, often sharing it with a fellow chipmunk. Behold this cute little chap cuddling up in the autumn leaves – a familiar feature of the series.
