The Woodland Spirits family is growing. Welcome the deer as its newest member. There are 43 species of deer and the one featured here is a roe deer. The roe deer is a slender, graceful Eurasian species with short antlers. Living in areas of mixed countryside including woodland, farmland, grassland and heathland. They range from northern Europe and Asia to the high mountains of Central Asia and South as far as Spain. Mintage of this legal tender Mongolian coin is limited to only 1500 pieces.
Reverse
This sophisticatedly colored 1 oz silver coin features a majestic, male deer, also referred to as “roebucks” with its typical marks around the nose. Surrounded by rustic, autumnal décor that is characteristic of this series.
